Urban Outfitters is definitely one of my fave high street retailers, but this Christmas I actually found a fault with the on-trend store. Whilst shopping for Christmas presents for my boyfriend I found it really hard to find clothing that was present worthy. My bf is tee fanatic and usually rants to me about the difficulties of finding 'the PERFECT tee', in reply to this I usually ignore or don't take it into consideration. As Christmas rolled round so did my awareness of finding a decent men's tee that doesn't have Rihanna's face or a digital print of un-creative cartoon characters plastered all over it.
UO, usually my go-to place for on trend fashion, played host to endless shelves of the terrible tees. No insult to UO (I'll still always love it) but it was really disappointing to see! Though there was no trace of Rihanna, there wasn't anything remotely appealing among the horizontal stripes and Aztec pocketed plains. I don't blame UO of course, I blame today's fashion industry. Maybe if everyone stopped obsessing over getting girls in hotpants and heels bigger than a persons head, the menswear industry would be blossoming beautifully.

Levi's S/S Vintage Lookbook
Levi's vintage clothing line has released its Spring/Summer Lookbook for the fast approaching 2013. Set in the California's scorching Death Valley, the western vintage denim Levi cladded models represent true American 1950's fashion in this cinematic retro Lookbook. Not usually a fan of American homage, I have found myself vacuumed into the Americana fascination this past year, with american beauty's emerging such as the exquisite Lana Del Rey it's really difficult not to be sucked in!
